The comedy of a husband’s haunting by the mischievous ghost of his first wife is given substance in Studio Theatre’s production of Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit at the Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe and at venues to be announced through North Devon. A well-loved theatrical favourite, Blithe Spirit broke British box-office records and transferred to the cinema screen in a version starring Rex Harrison and Margaret Rutherford, directed by David Lean. Studio Theatre is well-known for comedy successes including Habeas Corpus, ‘Allo ’Allo and Dads’ Army and this production is directed by Anne Bacon. Performances at:
