Shakespeares Twelfth Night on tour across North Devon in November
2007. Produced by our chairman, Jay Moore, performances were at:
- Thursday 8th November Ilfracombe Arts College
- Friday 9th November Pip & Jim's Church Centre (St
Philip & St James' Church Centre) Ilfracombe
- Saturday 10th November Woolacombe Village Hall
- Tuesday 13th November North Devon College
- Friday 16th November North Devon College
- Saturday 17th November West Buckland School
Read review in the North
Devon Journal.
Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeares most popular and
most often produced comedies, says Jay. Audiences like
it because the love stories are often played for their lyrical romance
and gentle melancholy, and the comedy is knockabout, tipsy fun.
Add Festes haunting songs to the mix and the result is a warm
and glowing entertainment for a winters evening for
twelfth night in fact.
We are pleased to include a number of experienced players among
the cast along with enthusiastic newcomers, whom we welcome warmly
to Studio Theatre.
