Studio Theatre’s collection of song, dance and comedy from the 1940s will put a smile on your face in Ilfracombe's Landmark Pavilion on three summer Saturdays and on Fridays at venues across North Devon.
Devised and directed by Mike Bennett, When You’re Smiling brings to life the music and laughter of well-loved 1940s performers including Vera Lynn, Max Miller and Gert and Daisy plus a view of the hilarious goings-on in a familiar-looking war-time café somewhere in France.
Come along and enjoy the nostalgia of your favourite songs and acts. Performances at:
- Saturday 26th July - Landmark Pavilion, Ilfracombe
- Friday 1st August - Combe Martin Village Hall
- Saturday 9th August - Landmark Pavilion, Ilfracombe
- Friday 15th August - Berrynarbor Manor Hall
- Saturday 16th August - Landmark Pavilion, Ilfracombe
- Friday 22nd August - Woolacombe Village Hall
