About Studio Theatre: Ilfracombe's community theatre

Studio Theatre is an amateur community theatre group based in the charming seaside town of Ilfracombe, North Devon. We are registered as a charity and incorporated as a non-profit-making company in the United Kingdom (see details below).

Every year Studio Theatre stages six or so productions, both at the Landmark Theatre and Pavilion on the seafront at Ilfracombe and at the Studio Theatre in Ilfracombe College.

Our varied repertoire ranges from serious and classic drama to comedies, musicals and old tyme music hall productions.

Whether you live in North Devon or are a visitor enjoying our wonderful seaside town and beautiful scenery, we hope you enjoy the entertainment we provide for you.

Our members reflect a range of ages and experience, including beginners and professionals, and the standard of performance is very high.

As well as producing our own shows, we arrange trips to see other productions and stage a range of theatre-based entertainments for members.

We welcome you to participate in our activities, either in the audience at one of our shows or as member on or off-stage.

We seek members to join in with all aspects of production, from producing, directing and acting to sets, costumes, stage management, front-of-house and publicity.
